JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. The role involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Project Planning and Execution

  • Lead project initiation, planning, and implementation according to approved plans and schedules.
  • Develop project timelines, cost estimates, budgets, manpower plans, and procurement schedules.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with design specifications, quality standards, and safety policies.

B. Resource and Team Management

  • Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
  • Manage and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials effectively.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to site personnel.

C. Financial and Contract Management

  • Prepare project budget and monitor actual expenditures against approved cost.
  • Review and approve progress billings, variation orders, and procurement requests.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation for billing and turnover.
  • Manage client contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements in compliance with terms.

D. Quality, Safety, and Compliance

  • Enforce compliance with quality control standards and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety Officers for inspections and compliance audits.
  • Address non-conformance and implement preventive and corrective measures.

E. Client and Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and partners regarding project updates and concerns.
  • Handle client meetings, inspections, and turnover requirements.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage conflict or change requests effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
  • Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven track record in managing medium to large-scale vertical or horizontal projects
  • Experience in cost control, scheduling, and contract administration

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Bluebeam)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
  • Knowledge of QA/QC standards, safety practices, and project documentation
