Duties and Responsibilities:
Successful candidate shall support the SMU Lead on the development, implementation, and assessment of SMU plans and activities, as detailed in the key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Management (25%)
a. Identify and plan monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities and processes of implementation for the organization and its programs and units.
b. Support teams in the different planning processes, including reviews and revisions of Risk Matrix, SWOT/PESTLE, and Stakeholder Analysis, activities, KPIs, and targets.
c. Develop, update, and refine monitoring, evaluation, and learning documents, including related tools, templates, and processes needed.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation (40%)
a. Support data-driven decision-making by providing data and insights to inform organizational decision-making, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
b. Collaborate with the units in the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning plans and activities.
c. Extract, aggregate, and analyze data from planning, reporting, and related processes.
d. Participate in monitoring visits to projects for report and information validation.
e. Facilitate utilization of data for planning, implementation, assessment, and improvement.
f. Support writing reports and developing presentations with data from different SMU activities.
3. Quality Management System (35%)
a. Review and update concept notes, activity or research designs, and procedures with the purpose of documentation and standardization and improvement for better stakeholder satisfaction.
b. Quality-assure the submitted reports, databases, documentations, processes, and related documents.
c. SMU Focal for the implementation and assessment of the unit's processes in relation to compliance such as the ISO Standards, DSWD and PCNC requirements for certification, etc.
d. Support data protection processes and policy in collaboration with the different units and data protection officer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to project management, strategic management, quality management in a development sector context, with focus on monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting.
Knowledge and experience of research best practices and tools development, including research design, data collection, and analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal and facilitation skills, including the ability to liaise, coordinate and support a diverse program team.
Computer application skills, data management, reporting, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results driven, excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to details, ability to work under pressure, and team player.
Relevant educational / professional degrees and certifications.
Job Type: Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
