Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented Medical Virtual Assistant to join our healthcare support team. This position plays a crucial role in connecting with patients and doctors to offer our client's services, collect and verify information, and maintain accurate documentation in one of our client's systems. You will be working remotely but must be available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound and cold calls to patients and medical providers to introduce and offer for one our clients
  • Explain services clearly, address basic questions, and handle objections professionally
  • Collect and input detailed information into company databases and systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Verify patient eligibility for services using provided tools, platforms, or criteria
  • Ensure all documentation from doctors and patients is complete, properly labeled, and organized according to internal protocols
  • Follow up via phone or email with patients or providers to obtain missing or incomplete information
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate digital records
  • Protect patient and provider information by following HIPAA guidelines and company privacy policies (if applicable)
  • Report any issues, red flags, or irregularities to the supervisor promptly

Qualifications (Required):

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in outbound calling or cold calling (preferably in a healthcare, insurance, or customer service setting)
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills with a proven track record of accuracy
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without close supervision
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and/or other administrative tools

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
  • With strong knowledge with HIPAA compliance or other data privacy standards
  • Previous experience working in a remote VA role
  • Ability to handle high-volume call environments
