Role Summary
The Data Analytics Engineer will be part of the Data Analytics team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure within a Microsoft Azure environment. The role involves integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the organization's end-to-end data integration and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple systems.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Azure tools such as Data Factory, Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric (Data Warehouse, Dataflows, Lakehouse).
- Implement and maintain data integrity, quality controls, and governance frameworks to ensure reliable data delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modelling and DAX calculations.
- Ensure timely project delivery through agile sprint planning, effective communication, and proactive issue resolution.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new data technologies to improve system performance and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem — particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with database design, optimization, and management.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, or Mulesoft).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, R, Java, or Unix scripting).
- Proven experience with Power BI, including data modelling and DAX.
- Experience delivering end-to-end data integration and analytics solutions.
- Data warehousing and data lake experience is highly desirable.
- Big Data or RPA experience is a plus.

- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own project responsibilities and deliverables, ensuring transparency in progress and blockers.
- Adapt quickly to feedback and implement improvements effectively.
