Job Title: Technical Designer – Dresses (This is a Hybrid Set-up):

Full-timeJob Summary:

The Technical Design Associate will oversee the technical execution of garment designs, ensuring precision in fit, construction, and specifications. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in patternmaking and garment technology, and openness to adopting 3D and AI-driven processes in workflow optimization and design analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Fit and Construction:

  • Manage all aspects of garment fit development from prototype to production.
  • Conduct virtual fit sessions and make necessary pattern adjustments to meet design intent and brand standards.
  • Analyze and adjust digital and physical patterns for consistency across styles and sizes.
  • Develop and maintain complete and accurate tech packs: measurements, construction notes, grading, fabric/trims.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Translate designers' creative vision into technically sound garments using modern software tools.
  • Liaise with patternmakers, factories, and sample rooms to resolve technical issues and maintain consistency.
  • Provide clear and timely feedback to offshore vendors and internal teams.

Product Development:

  • Evaluate samples at each development stage for technical accuracy and alignment with product goals.
  • Ensure fit approvals, pattern corrections, and production-ready specifications are delivered on schedule.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously optimize technical development workflows using technology and best practices.
  • Contribute to innovation in fit and construction methods with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3+ years in technical design, ideally in women's dresses or fashion apparel.
  • Experience working with remote and cross-functional teams is a plus.

Skills & Tools:

  • Strong understanding of garment construction and patternmaking principles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Airtable, and digital tech pack creation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak and write English.

Preferred Extras:

  • Experience with global manufacturing processes and timelines.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and ethical garment production.
  • Passion for technological innovation in apparel development.

Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
