Innovo is a leading Australian provider of engineering solutions in Intelligent Automation, Cloud & IT Modernisation, Testing & CDR conformance. Our foundation traces back over 15 years, with our roots being formed through international business and technology consulting, and focused on Automation and Quality Engineering.

Innovo is looking for a seasoned technical leader to head up a Manila-based automation and AI delivery team. This is a hands-on leadership role with equal focus on technical execution and team capability building. You'll lead and mentor a team of seven, developing their skills in both automation technologies and core software engineering practices.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years' experience in automation, AI, and software development.
  • Strong track record delivering automation and AI solutions from concept to production.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience in technical teams.
  • Expertise in
    Camunda BPM
    ,
    AI
    , and
    Agentic orchestration
    .
  • AWS Bedrock experience for building and deploying AI models.
  • Solid understanding of automation architecture, integration patterns, and modern development practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7 engineers.
  • Drive upskilling across technical automation skills and core development disciplines.
  • Oversee delivery of complex automation and AI projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for RPA, AI, and orchestration work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Innovo to align technical delivery with business outcomes.
