Job Title: Sr. Manager – QC/R&D

Location: Taguig City, Philippines

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager – QC/R&D to lead our Quality Control and Research & Development operations. The role involves managing QC/R&D teams, ensuring product quality, driving innovation, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily QC operations for raw materials, finished products, traded products, and packaging materials in compliance with the Sika Management System (SMS)
  • Lead R&D projects, product improvement initiatives, and formulation localization
  • Conduct lab tests, analyze results, approve certificates, and manage BOM/SGAN codes in AX/Galileo
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Regional, and Corporate R&D teams to drive efficiency and savings
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product complaints
  • Prepare consolidated QC/R&D reports for management
  • Participate in Management and Executive Committee meetings
  • Ensure safety, training, and competency development of QC/R&D team members
  • Support supplier and internal audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate superior

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Registered Chemist
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in chemical manufacturing, including team management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as QC/R&D Manager
  • Strong experience in Quality Assurance and ISO standards implementation
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
