We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mini grocery store. The ideal candidate should be bilingual, with at least Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 level communication skills, and must be capable of leading a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving store profitability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
  • Ensure proper merchandising, cleanliness, and organization of the store.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store staff.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet and exceed store targets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide excellent service.
  • Prepare sales reports, track expenses, and monitor cash flow.
  • Communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders (customers, suppliers, or owners) as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a store supervisor or manager (preferably in retail or grocery).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Japanese (at least JLPT N3 level) and English/Filipino.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and inventory software is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree preferred.
