extension veterinarian

• Conduct feed trials for continuous research and development of products.
• Review monthly livestock invent5ory report and other pertinent documents.
• Ensure the overall health status of trial farm animals.
• Prepare a list of feed trials to be conducted for the year.
• Entertain members/customers queries on animal production and health management.
• Provide technical assistance to members/customers thru seminars, farm visits, provision of vaccination programs, veterinary laboratory works/test, etc. as part of after sales service of marketing department.
• Routine schedule of SIDC feeds sales Outlets vidsit and holding of clinic to assist them on the technical concerns of members/customers.
• Guide the sales staff in the technical aspect of feed mill products to be used in their sales operation.
• Coordinate with the Animal Nutrition and Quality Assurance Departments on the observations and feedbacks from the field concerning feed quality and other related concerns.
• Attend to the strict implementation of the biosecurity measures of Feedmill plant and sale office premises.
• Review and monitor the subordinates to ensure activities are accomplished in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
• Ensure that safety, health, environmental and housekeeping programs are well implemented.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
• 2 years relevant experience
• Excellent in oral/written communication and customer service skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Good moral character, accurate and attentive to detail
• Problem solving skill
• Exhibits leadership skills while establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relationship
