CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and other allied courses such as Agricultural

Engineering, Fisheries Technology and Veterinary Medicine

Eligibility : Relevant RA 1080 (Agriculturist, Agricultural Engineer, Fisheries Technologist and Veterinarian)

Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training

Work Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Helps develop extension modalities and other extension innovations;

  2. Coordinates with SUCs, CSOs, RBOs, POs, LGUs and other extension providers and institutionalize partnership with the aforementioned conduits in carrying out the training and extension functions of the center;

  3. Provides technical assistance in establishing linkages with other agencies, stakeholders on extension needs and strategies;

  4. Conducts, calls for programs/project proposals for training and extension activities and evaluate the completeness and compliance to the standards of proposals to avail of extension grants;

  5. Helps conduct training programs in coordination with the Training Services;

  6. Prepares activity completion reports;

  7. Serve as resource person or subject matter specialist;

  8. Act as Focal Person;

  9. Performs other functions required by the Section Head/Center Director.
