Who we are

Global Back Office Solutions Pty Ltd is our offshore outsourcing company based in Eastwood, Quezon City we work closely with our Australian based parent company that provides Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Planning, Lending & Legal services.

Position summary:

Global Back Office Solutions Pty Ltd Accounting division is looking for an experienced Accountant with deep expertise in Completion of Australian Taxation Compliance and advanced proficiency in MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Essentials. This role offers a clear path to future leadership, with the opportunity to mentor and supervise junior accountants. You will oversee their daily activities, including training them on accounting principles, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of their work.

Job responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and compliant Financial Statements and Annual Taxation Returns for Individuals, Companies & Trusts
  • Manage bank reconciliations, coding, and data entry to trial balance
  • Review accuracy of BAS, GST, payroll, and superannuation reporting and lodgements
  • Work closely with managers on Australian Taxation Accounting and regulatory compliance matters
  • Ensure high standards of reporting, precision, and professional conduct across the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any accounting related field
  • Excellent English communication both verbal and written
  • Willing to work Australian shift hours
  • Must be willing to work in Eastwood, Quezon City

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Australian Taxation Accounting with Australian Clients and Companies/Trusts
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws, ATO compliance, and reporting requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Essentials
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently when needed
  • Knowledge of Xero is a plus, but not required
