Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations. Assist with tax preparation and filing (GST, payroll tax, superannuation). Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Bookkeeping (10‑60%) Deal with client queries. Process payroll. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations. Assist with tax preparation and filing (GST, payroll tax, superannuation). Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Financial Analysis (10‑40%) Support the client‑facing CFO in dealing with client queries. Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues. Support with financial forecasts and budgets. Run reports and reconcile values between reports. Administrative Support (20‑40%) Support the business owners with internal administrative tasks: updating client register, renewing corporate insurance, helping organise client events, etc. Manage the business’ own bookkeeping and accounting.
