Teppan Chef

  • vegetables, and rice directly in front of guests, showcasing culinary techniques and entertainment.
  • Entertain Guests: Engage and entertain guests with culinary performances, including knife skills, tricks, and interactive cooking techniques, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Prepare Ingredients: Ensure all ingredients are properly prepared, portioned, and fresh before service.
  • Maintain Cleanliness of Teppan Station: Keep the cooking station clean, sanitize the grill before and after each service, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Food Presentation: Ensure that dishes are cooked to perfection and presented attractively on the teppan grill for guests.
  • Coordinate with Servers: Work closely with the serving team to ensure seamless service delivery, making sure guests receive their meals in a timely manner.
  • Follow Health and Safety Protocols: Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines, ensuring safe food handling and proper use of equipment.
  • Support Kitchen Operations: Assist in kitchen prep work and ingredient management when required, ensuring the teppan station is always stocked with necessary ingredients.

Sushi Chef

Sushi Preparation: Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and other dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring precision in knife skills and plating techniques.

  • Ingredient Selection: Select and use the freshest ingredients, particularly fish, rice, and seaweed, maintaining high standards for quality and freshness.
  • Knife Skills: Utilize advanced knife techniques for cutting fish and preparing sushi with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Fish Handling: Ensure proper handling, cutting, and storage of fish to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Station Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized sushi station, regularly sanitizing work surfaces and tools.
  • Guest Interaction: Occasionally interact with guests to explain dishes or accommodate special requests, contributing to a personalized dining experience.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Follow all food safety regulations, including proper handling of raw fish, and adhere to hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen Staff: Coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Monitor the stock of sushi ingredients and report any shortages or reorder needs to the Branch Inventory Controller or management.
