  • Oversee accounting operations. Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and lease revenue recognition.
  • Ensure accurate lease accounting. Monitor lease contracts to ensure correct recording in compliance with PFRS 16 and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial and budget reports, including variance analyses. Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Facilitate budget preparation and ensure efficient and proper utilization of approved budget.
  • Manage billing and collections. Oversee tenant billing, payment schedules, and collection efforts to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, lease agreements, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors for financial compliance audits.
  • Manage review tax assessments ensuring prompt resolution at the most reasonable cost possible.
  • Regularly review and reconcile bank accounts, lease receivables, and security deposits.
  • Provide financial analysis insights to guide pricing, lease structuring, and renewal strategies.
  • Initiate and recommend tax planning strategies to lawfully minimize and prevent potential tax leakages.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist Tax Compliance Officer in reviewing tax reports and compliance thereof for HI managed entities.
  • Performs other duties which may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or Controller.
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • CPA Board Passer
  • Good Leadership Skills
  • With more than 5 years of progressive experience in the field of accounting.
  • With established foundation and experience in the overall general accounting functions, including taxation, financial reporting and administration/ management of accounting system
  • Experience in property management of similar industry is a plus
  • Has strong analytical, good communication skills and has the ability to manage various tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially in MS Excel
