Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, building modern data platforms, and transforming raw data into actionable insights. The role involves working across the full data lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality data delivery.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer focused role;
  • Must have hands-on experience with advanced SQL development and working with RDBMS databases;
  • Must have expericen with ETL tools such as ADF (Azure Data Factory) or Apache Airflow;
  • Deep understanding of data handling processes: ingestion, transformation, modeling, and storage;
  • Experience in building Big Data warehouses and working with data lakes, data marts, or data vaults;
  • Knowledge of distributed data processing and partitioning strategies;
  • Ability to convert Logical Data Models (LDM) to Physical Data Models (PDM);
  • Solid understanding of integrated data pipeline validation.

Desired Skill-set

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Shell scripting
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
  • Comfortable collaborating with remote and distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines across cloud and on-prem platforms;
  • Build and manage data storage solutions including data warehouses, data lakes, and databases with attention to scalability and security;
  • Automate data movement and integration processes to support analytical and operational workloads;
  • Implement tooling and monitoring solutions to ensure robust data pipeline performance;
  • Conduct testing and validation of developed pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity;
  • Maintain thorough documentation of technical specifications, data flows, and implementation logic;
  • Work closely with operations and product stakeholders to support and improve existing data solutions;
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and ensure the timely delivery of data assets;
  • Support reporting needs by enabling access to cleansed and structured data.
