About the role

Hyundai Laguna Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Security Officer to join our team in Binan City, Laguna. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises and personnel. Your primary focus will be ensuring the implementation of effective security measures and emergency response protocols to protect our assets and safeguard our staff.

What you'll be doing

  1. Patrolling and monitoring the company's premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  2. Controlling access to the facility by authorising and verifying the entry and exit of personnel and visitors
  3. Responding to and managing emergency situations, including fire, medical, and security incidents
  4. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of security-related incidents and activities
  5. Coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
  6. Providing security-related training and guidance to employees
  7. Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role
  2. Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency management, and risk assessment
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and visitors
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
  5. Proficiency in the use of security equipment and technologies
  6. A current and valid security guard license or certification
  7. Fluency in English and the local language
