About the role

We are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our thriving team at PHILMETAL PRODUCTS, Inc., As our Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of our cutting-edge steel manufacturing equipment. This full-time position is based in Lapasan Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of new steel manufacturing equipment and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new equipment into existing production processes
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the installation and commissioning phases
  • Develop and implement installation plans, schedules, and safety protocols
  • Train and mentor plant personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of new equipment
  • Continuously monitor and optimize equipment performance to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain detailed records of all installation and commissioning activities

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in the installation and commissioning of heavy industrial equipment, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
