*Role Summary*
- We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BIM Designer (Revit Modeller/Landscape Architect). This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an exciting international project, working within a growing team focused on landscape design, design development, and documentation. The role requires strong technical capabilities in BIM processes, Revit modelling, and landscape architecture, coupled with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to deliver on time and within budget.
- As a BIM Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality project documentation and ensuring successful, people-driven outcomes. Your work will span multiple project phases, including design development, contract administration, and the preparation of construction documentation.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Terrane Modelling: Develop accurate and detailed terrain models for landscape design projects using Revit.
- 3D Model Extraction for Rendering: Extract 3D models for rendering purposes in Lumion, ensuring visualisations are of the highest quality.
- Preparation of Design Drawings: Create precise and clear design drawings, including conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs, aligned with project requirements.
- Project Contract Administration: Assist in contract administration tasks, ensuring alignment with project deliverables, timelines, and client expectations.
- Construction Documentation: Prepare comprehensive construction documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy for the construction phase.
Essential Experience / Attributes:
- Tertiary Qualification: Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the landscape architecture industry.
- Revit & BIM Expertise: Extensive experience with Revit, including modelling and the BIM process for landscape architecture projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD: Strong skills in AutoCAD for design and documentation purposes.
- Software Competence: Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Communication Skills: High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Autonomous & Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Additional Desirable Skills (Not Essential):
- Competence in Lumion/Enscape/Rhino for rendering and visualisation.
- Knowledge of horticulture/planting design to support landscape architecture expertise
