Warehouse Man

Receiving and Storage:

• Accepting Deliveries:Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments of goods, checking for accuracy and damage.
• Inventory Management:Organizing and storing items in designated locations within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate inventory records, potentially using a warehouse management system or other tools.

Order Fulfillment:

• Order Picking:Locating and retrieving items from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
• Packing and Shipping:Preparing orders for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and preparing necessary documentation.

Warehouse Operations:

• Operating Equipment:Utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move and handle materials.
• Maintaining the Warehouse:Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, adhering to safety regulations.
• Quality Control:Inspecting items for damage and ensuring the correct quantity and quality of goods.
• Collaboration:Working with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.

General Responsibilities:

• Following Safety Procedures:Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicating Effectively:Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Contributing to Efficiency:Working to optimize warehouse operations and contribute to overall productivity.

Skills:

• Physical Stamina: Warehouse work often involves physical labor, including lifting and moving items.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial in tasks like inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Basic Math Skills: Required for inventory counts, calculations, and other tasks.
• Ability to Operate Equipment: Experience with forklifts and other warehouse machinery is often required.
