WAREHOUSE HELPER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Receiving Assistance

  • Help unload deliveries from suppliers.
  • Assist Warehouse Man in checking item conditions, packaging, and quantities.
  • Move delivered items to correct storage zones (dry, chill, freezer).
  • Support in rejecting damaged or incorrect items.

2. Storage & Organization

  • Arrange stocks neatly based on labeling, item category, and FIFO/FEFO.
  • Help maintain clean and organized shelving, pallets, crates, and storage racks.
  • Assist in refilling high-usage items to make issuing faster for production staff.
  • Report low stock levels or any abnormalities to Warehouse Man or Supervisor.

3. Issuance Support

  • Prepare items for release based on Stock Requisition Slips.
  • Help pull out items from shelves, chillers, and freezers.
  • Support in double-checking accuracy of quantity and item type before release.
  • Coordinate with production teams during peak hours for quick stock movement.

4. Inventory Monitoring

  • Assist in daily stock checks for fast-moving items.
  • Help in weekly and monthly inventory counts.
  • Identify near-expiry or damaged items and report immediately.
  • Support in sorting and recording returns, wastage, and variances.

5. Housekeeping & Sanitation

  • Maintain general cleanliness of warehouse floor, shelving, crates, and pallets.
  • Sweep, mop, organize, and ensure zero clutter in all storage zones.
  • Keep chillers and freezers clean and free from spills, ice build-up, or contamination.
  • Assist in pest-prevention routines.

6. Logistics & Movement

  • Assist in loading and unloading for dispatch deliveries.
  • Carry, lift, and move heavy items safely following ergonomic guidelines.
  • Help prepare and stage items for daily deliveries to restaurants and catering.

7. Support to Warehouse Man & Commissary Supervisor

  • Follow instructions and assist in special tasks assigned.
  • Provide manpower for monthly audit checks, stock reorganizations, or major clean-ups.
  • Serve as backup during high-volume production days.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Physically fit; able to lift 20–30 kg as needed.
  • At least Senior High School Graduate
  • Willing to work in cold stockrooms (chiller/freezer).
  • Can follow instructions, work fast, and maintain a clean environment.
  • Honest, reliable, and team-oriented.

WORK SCHEDULE & ASSIGNMENT

  • Full-time, assigned at the Aikon Food Corporation Commissary.
  • May be required on weekends or holidays depending on production and delivery demands.
