  1. Design & Analysis

  2. Develop conceptual and detailed designs for hybrid systems (PV + BESS + grid) based on client requirements and site conditions.

  3. Perform energy yield assessments, load analysis, and system simulations using tools such as HOMER Pro, PVSyst, PV*SOL, and Helioscope.
  4. Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), cable layouts, protection schemes, and control architectures.
  5. Size and specify major equipment: PV modules, inverters, battery systems, charge controllers, gensets, and transformers.
  6. Conduct grid interconnection studies, load flow, and fault analysis where applicable.
  7. Optimize hybrid system performance for LCOE, fuel savings, and reliability.
  8. Prepare design turn-over checklist and instructions for TSSR and DDD production (c/o CAD Vendors)
  9. Validate all submitted TSSR and DDD by the vendors are correct and accurate

  10. Upload/route TSSR and DDD for approval using process tool such as TaskMapper

  11. Cross functional coordination related to Design optimization and implementation

  12. Collaborate with the procurement team on technical specifications and evaluation of equipment suppliers.

  13. Support project management during installation, testing, and commissioning, providing technical clarification and as-built documentation.

  14. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and client review.

  15. Compliances

  16. Ensure all designs comply with local codes, IEC standards, and utility interconnection requirements.

  17. Ensure all designs comply with the customers electrical standards. Assist PMO in the technical discussion and coordination for all customer electrical standard discussions.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
    • Accuracy of design outputs and simulations
  18. Compliance with project deadlines and technical specifications
  19. Reduction in system LCOE and improved efficiency metrics
  20. Quality of design documentation and coordination with project teamsQualifications:
    • Education:

o Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related discipline

o Licensed Electrical Engineer (preferred but not mandatory)

o 3–5 years of relevant experience in PV or hybrid renewable system design.

o Proficiency in design and simulation tools (AutoCAD, PVSyst, HOMER Pro, PV*SOL, ETAP, or similar).

o Strong understanding of DC and AC electrical systems, energy storage technologies, and genset integration.

o Familiarity with control strategies for hybrid microgrids (e.g., grid-following vs. grid-forming inverters).

o Knowledge of applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, and local electrical codes).

o Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Experience:

o 1–3 years' experience in PV design, BESS, or microgrids using renewable energy sources

o Experience in cost estimation and tender preparation is a plus

  • Skills:

o Skills and knowledge in microgrids, or telecom tower power designs and implementations

o Familiarity with modular power systems

o Understanding of climate resilience and reliability design for harsh environments.

o Ability to perform cost-benefit and lifecycle analyses (LCOE, NPV) for hybrid power plants

o Good communication skills

o Team player. Can collaborate with procurement, I&C, and O&M teams to ensure smooth project handover.

Job Type: Full-time
