PLANNING

  • Review and understand and analyze materials specifications
  • Plan out priority orders and ensure accurate material requirements are posted for proper forecasting
  • Recommend materials for purchase and delivery schedules

MONITORING & CONTROLLING

  • Tracking and monitoring of suppliers' deliveries / feedback and comments
  • Monitoring each material's movement or issuance and ensure that allocations are implemented as planned

COORDINATION

  • Coordinates with suppliers regarding inquiries, orders, discrepancies, quality issues (as necessary)
  • Coordinates regarding materials usage
  • Coordinates with other sections like PPIC, R&D, Warehouse, Impex regarding production schedule, material details, quality and deliveries

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or relevant course
  • Previous work experience in materials planning is highly desirable
