Brief Description Of Work and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and analyzing security events via the organization's SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk).
  • Investigating and responding to potential security incidents and threats.
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and tracking remediation activities.
  • Assisting in log management, event correlation, and alert triage.
  • Supporting endpoint protection, firewall policy reviews, and access control audits.
  • Participating in incident response processes and preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
  • Coordinating with the Managed SOC provider for threat escalation and analysis.
  • Maintaining and updating security documentation, playbooks, and policies.
  • Supporting IT compliance audits related to cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Conducting user security awareness sessions or developing training materials.
  • Preparing and submitting weekly security operations and incident summary reports.
