Athletics Supervisor

The Athletics Supervisor oversees the day-to-day tasks and management of the Athletics Department. It ensures the smooth operation of the gym and the department, compliance with the university and administrative requirements, and other duties related to Athletics and NCAA.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any bachelor's degree
• Having a Master's degree is an advantage
• At least 3–5 years of experience in athletics administration, program coordination, or sports facility management, preferably in an academic setting.
• Experience in handling budgets, procurement, or sponsorship activities is an advantage.
• Competence in budget monitoring, purchase requests, and financial documentation.
• Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with NCAA policies, sports program operations, and academic monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviews and validates the completeness and accuracy of all athletics-related financial, scholarship, and administrative requests (e.g., RCAB, PRF, budget and purchase requests, allowances, dorm and rental billings, supplier quotations, and budget utilization) before endorsement to the Athletics Director.
• Attends to administrative and operational matters in support of the Athletics Director, including:

- Participates in regular ATC meetings (as alternate to the Director), addresses coaches' and players' concerns, coordinates with suppliers and potential sponsors, and manages dormitory-related issues.

- Reviews and analyzes budget and purchase requests and oversees dormitory utility billings.

- Actively participates in university events and activities such as seminars, foundation day, pep rallies, orientations, and other related functions.

• Assists the Director in building linkages and partnerships with potential sponsors for varsity teams.
• Coordinates with university offices (PFM, CSH, Finance, HSD, OUR, Procurement, MCO, SAO, HRD, SCY, ICT, and Colleges) to support implementation of the LPU Athletics Program.
• Assists the Director in promoting and developing sports programs across LPU campuses through joint summits, tune-up games, recruitment referrals, sponsorship integration, benchmarking, inspirational talks, and league endorsements.
• Attends and monitors practices and games of all varsity teams (except MBT, WVT).
• Oversees and responds to medical and emergency cases involving student-athletes.
