Position Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Social Media Video Editor to craft compelling, performance-driven short-form video content for channels such as Amazon and YouTube Shorts. This role centers on direct-response advertising, with a strong emphasis on creating impactful narratives, fast-paced edits, and attention-grabbing openers that drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce 5–10 short-form video ads weekly, tailored for Amazon, YouTube Shorts, and paid social campaigns.

  • Create promotional videos to support new product releases, marketing bundles, and campaign launches across both organic and paid media.

  • Edit videos using a mix of content sources, including user-submitted clips, AI-generated visuals, and pre-scripted footage.

  • Apply high-converting editing tactics such as strong hooks, tight pacing, clear calls to action, subtitles, on-screen captions, and audio enhancements.

  • Work closely with the Content Strategy and Marketing teams to test, evaluate, and iterate on creative output

  • Keep editing workflows organized, ensuring all files and assets follow internal brand standards.

  • Monitor the latest trends in viral video content, direct-to-consumer marketing, and video editing to keep creative fresh and effective.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience editing short-form ads or social videos within a DTC or eCommerce environment.

  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut Pro, Figma, or After Effects.

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing tactics, including viewer engagement strategies and retention techniques.

  • Excellent time management and ability to handle revisions and creative direction efficiently.

  • Familiarity with both viral short-form content and more in-depth storytelling styles.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Past experience working with influencers or digital marketing firms.

  • Basic skills in motion graphics or color grading.

  • Understanding of ad performance data like click-through rates, cost-per-click, or conversions.

  • Experience in fast-paced creative environments either in-house or at an agency.
