Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain branch financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, inventory, and bank deposits; reconcile discrepancies.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable specific to the branch.
  • Conduct monthly stock takes and coordinate inventory reconciliation with operations.
  • Prepare and submit timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to head office.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the branch.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits.
  • Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Work with the branch manager to monitor KPIs and improve profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices, employee advances, and petty cash.
  • Assist in payroll processing and employee benefit records (if applicable to the branch).
  • Enforce internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or restaurant-specific POS systems).
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
