ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a sharp and dependable Credit Investigator to join our Mandaluyong team. In this role, you'll conduct background checks and field validations to ensure that loan applications are based on verified, complete, and credible information.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As Credit Investigator, you'll play a key role in verifying the authenticity of applicant information. This includes conducting field visits, confirming declared details through interviews and site inspections, and submitting clear, structured reports that support risk assessment and loan decisions.

  • Conduct on-site investigations and background checks following CSFC protocols
  • Visit residences, employers, or business locations to confirm declared information
  • Interview borrowers, neighbors, or business references as needed
  • Take field photos and document site observations using internal checklists
  • Review documents presented in person and check for consistency
  • Identify red flags and potential risk issues based on site findings
  • Coordinate with the Loan Application Officer to raise issues or clarify details
  • Submit clear reports and field validation summaries within prescribed timelines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2 years of experience in credit investigation, field validation, or background checking
  • Preferably with experience conducting home or business visits and personal information verification
  • Comfortable working in structured workflows with documentation and field reports
  • Clear and professional communicator, especially during interviews and reporting
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent in following protocols and checklists
  • Proficient in using basic office and reporting tools
  • Willing to be field-based, conduct site visits, and travel as needed
  • Must be willing to report to the Mandaluyong office
  • Must be amenable to full-time employment and signing confidentiality and data privacy agreements
