CABINET ASSEMBLER – JOB DESCRIPTION

(Dreambuild Design Studio)

Position Overview

The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling knockdown cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and related wooden furniture according to production standards. This role requires precision, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every item matches quality before delivery to stores or clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Assembly & Production

  • Assemble wooden and laminated panels, shelves, drawers, and doors following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Install hinges, drawer slides, handles, and accessories accurately.
  • Ensure proper alignment, structural stability, and clean finish.
  • Maintain consistency with measurements and layout based on production drawings.

2. Quality Control

  • Inspect materials before assembly to ensure no cracks, warping, or defects.
  • Check all finished products for smooth surfaces, correct dimensions, and clean edging.
  • Report inconsistencies to the Supervisor immediately.

3. Tools & Equipment Handling

  • Operate basic hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, riveters, clamps, etc.).
  • Handle power tools safely following guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools after use.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all factory safety protocols (PPE, machine precautions, lifting techniques).
  • Keep work area organized to prevent accidents.
  • Participate in regular safety training sessions.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with Project Manager for daily job orders.
  • Record completed units and update production logs.
  • Give feedback on recurring issues, missing materials, or design concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in cabinet assembly or carpentry (preferred but not required).
  • Basic knowledge of woodworking and KD furniture assembly.
  • Ability to read simple drawings and follow measurements.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to stand for long periods.
  • Capable of lifting 20–30 kg safely.
  • Manual dexterity for precision work.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Project-based, Monday to Saturday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php10, Php20,000.00 per month
