As a Technical Site Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of construction projects. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of our projects, contributing to the growth and development of the project.

It requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication to ensure that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and coordinating construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations
  • Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support
  • Preparing detailed reports, documentation, and technical drawings as required
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the site team and other departments
  • Providing technical guidance and training to site personnel to maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project cycle.
  • Ensuring that construction work aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Establishing control points and benchmarks to guide construction activities.
  • Coordinating the procurement and delivery of materials, and managing on-site resources efficiently.
  • Addressing and resolving technical challenges that arise during construction
  • Responsible for translating design plans into reality on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Site Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, standards, and safety practices
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and technologies
