  2. Vacuum, mop, sweep, and dust floors, carpets, and surfaces regularly.

  3. Clean glass surfaces such as windows, mirrors, and glass doors.

  4. Empty trash bins in all public areas and replace liners as needed.

  5. Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing toilets, sinks, counters, and restocking supplies (soap, tissue, towels).

Guest and Staff Interaction

  1. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or inquiries during cleaning shifts.

  2. Respect guest privacy and follow hotel policies for areas that are occupied or in use.

  3. Always maintain a friendly and professional attitude toward guests and staff.

Upkeep and Reporting

  1. Inspect public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues and report any damage, safety hazards, or repairs needed to the supervisor.

  2. Replenish public area supplies such as air fresheners, hand sanitizer stations, and guest amenities.

  3. Monitor cleaning equipment and ensure proper usage and storage.

  4. Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with health and safety standards.

Support Duties

  1. Assist in setting up or rearranging furniture for hotel events, meetings, or common areas as directed.

  2. Support the housekeeping department with additional tasks when needed (e.g., delivering items to rooms, assisting with linen delivery).

  3. Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned checklists.

General Conduct

  1. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked housekeeping cart.

  2. Adhere to hotel policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.

  3. Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
