An account executive (AE) is a sales professional responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, managing the sales cycle, and driving revenue growth. Their duties include prospecting for new clients, presenting products or services, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets. They also act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and revenue generation: Prospecting new business, presenting solutions, closing deals, and achieving sales targets.
• Client relationship management: Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Account management: Managing a portfolio of new and existing client accounts, including handling complaints and resolving problems.
• Project coordination: Liaising between clients and internal teams (like creative or product) to ensure projects are delivered on time and to brief.
• Reporting and analysis: Providing information to senior executives, preparing reports, and monitoring sales progress.
