We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and mechanical equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical principles, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in industrial or commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electric motors, wiring, control panels, and other electrical components.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using testing devices and schematic diagrams.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Assemble and disassemble machinery as needed for service and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Technical diploma, trade certification, or relevant apprenticeship in electrical or electromechanical systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and standards.
