Responsibilities
- Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging online courses in the MBA program, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience for students.
- Academic Support:
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and projects.
- Offer academic guidance and support to students, including office hours and one-on-one consultations.
- Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and revision of MBA course content and curriculum.
- Stay current with industry trends and academic research to ensure course materials are relevant and up-to-date.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and administer assessments to measure student learning and progress.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to help them achieve academic success.
- Research and Scholarship:
- Engage in scholarly research and publish findings in academic journals or present at conferences.
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the academic community.
- Program Contribution:
- Participate in program committees and meetings to contribute to the continuous improvement of the MBA program.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and student outcomes.
- Student Engagement:
- Foster a supportive and inclusive online learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and engagement through interactive learning activities and discussions.
- Administrative Duties:
- Complete required administrative tasks, including grading, attendance tracking, and course documentation.
- Adhere to institutional policies and procedures related to online teaching and academic standards.
- Teaching Expertise: Proven ability to deliver high-quality instruction and engage students in an online learning environment.
- Subject Matter Knowledge: Deep knowledge of MBA-level content and relevant industry practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teaching and student interaction.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with online teaching platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and digital tools. (Canvas preferred)
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage course materials, student assessments, and administrative responsibilities.
- Research and Scholarship: Demonstrated ability to conduct and publish scholarly research in relevant fields.
- Student-Centered Approach: Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Student Satisfaction: Achieve a student satisfaction rate of 95% or higher based on course evaluations and feedback.
- Course Engagement: Maintain high levels of student engagement and participation, as measured by online activity and course completion rates.
- Assessment Quality: Ensure that assessments are aligned with course objectives and effectively measure student learning outcomes.
