JOB SUMMARY

The Internal Audit Associate supports the Internal Systems Improvement Department in conducting compliance, spot, and special audits across locales and the Support System Group (SSG). The role assists in preparing audit documents, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring that company standards and internal controls are consistently observed. This position provides an opportunity to learn audit processes, strengthen analytical skills, and contribute to improving operational efficiency and compliance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in performing audit fieldwork in assigned locales, including:a. Fund accountability auditsb. Linen and stocks auditsc. Room sales and chits auditsd. Systems audits
  • Supports the conduct of spot or night audits to help prevent fraud and irregularities, including:a. Cash countsb. Room tags inventory (Occupancy Audit)c. QSCV (Quality, Service, Cleanliness, Value) auditd. Guiding-in and guiding-out transaction monitoringe. Compliance checking on company policies
  • Prepares and organizes audit working papers and ensures accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Assists in drafting audit findings, observations, and preliminary reports.
  • Coordinates with audit teams and locale representatives for data gathering and validation.
  • Helps monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Participates in special audit projects or assignments as directed.
  • Performs other audit-related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or Internal Auditing preferred
  • CPA is an advantage but not required
  • Open to new graduates or those with internship / OJT experience in audit, accounting, or finance
  • Computer literate; proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Basic knowledge or interest in internal audit systems and procedures
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical, objective, and willing to learn
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: From Php18,136.00 per month
