  1. Supervise and coordinate with the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining food manufacturing systems and processes.
  2. Oversee equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  3. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  4. Conduct regular audits of production processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
  5. Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance logs, and equipment specifications.
  6. Train and mentor engineering staff, promoting professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices in food manufacturing.
  7. Lead in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for production and equipment-related issues.
  8. Monitor and analyse production metrics, generate reports and provide recommendations for management.
  9. Ensure a safe working environment by promoting safety protocols and conducting safety training sessions.
  10. Performs assigned duties and responsibilities with high regard to safety and environment and shall fully adhere to policies on Environment, Health and Safety while inside the facility premises.
  11. Reports quality and food safety issues and any potential or actual emergency to immediate superior or authorized/designated person.
  12. Performs other related duties that may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time
