About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position based in SAN FERNANDO, LA UNION. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled accurately for shipping
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages
  • Sorting and placing warehouse items, as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in administering and organizing stock control both local and imported items
  • Assist in forecasting the inventory needs to meet peak demands of the business
  • Check all outgoing stocks to ensure that they are in good condition and make sure that all documents are accurately signed for proper documentation
  • Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
  • Communicate with sales admin and drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products
  • Perform general maintenance of tools and equipment used in the warehouse
  • Ensuring clean and safe working environment

What we're looking for

  • Proven working experience as a Warehouse Assistant.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • High school degree
  • Able to work unusual or extended hours including weekends and holidays to respond to unexpected and urgent deliveries
