Corporate Finance Officer

Grow Beyond UR Job with URC Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Treasury Officer. What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

Portfolio ManagementAssist in gathering and curating data for URC's annual Liquidity Plan and monitor its implementation across regional business units under URC International (URCI). Support M&A team in conducting due diligence, valuation models, and presentation preparation for acquisitions. Identify investment opportunities in venture capital space that matches the company's investment thesis and prepare corresponding market/sector reports.

Perform due diligence and analysis on prospective venture capital deals and projects and recommend an investment decision. Prepare investment-related documents and presentations for the Investment Committee and other stakeholders. Create financial models to optimize returns on investment of projects and corresponding capitalization tables.

Assist in identifying idle assets and conducting best use analysis (including lease or sale) across all BUs. Coordinate and collaborate on remittance of any regional proceeds to URC Philippines. Portfolio Performance ReviewMonitor capital allocation and performance metrics, including equity ventures.

Support the company's existing portfolio by participating in meetings with portfolio proponents. Regularly monitor and track performance relative to targets and funding rounds. Update corresponding valuation models and capitalization tables; reflecting realized and/or unrealized gains and losses.

Ensure that all investment compliance regulations are regularly adhered to. Administrative FunctionsPrepare daily, monthly, and yearly financial reports and performance updates. Execution of request for payments (RFPs) for share buybacks, dividend refunds, and other expenses.

Coordinate bi-annual dividend payouts with Corporate Secretary. Assist in the change process in the Corporate Finance Department as it develops into a stakeholder value-enhancing think tank of URC and main portfolio management team of Corporate Treasury. Assist the Corporate Finance Manager in other functional and administrative matters relating to the Corporate Finance group.

Ensure that functions and processes adhere to policy and that controls are in place to protect the company from franchise and financial risk. Other DutiesRepresent Treasury in meetings and conferences, and coordinate with other departments on Treasury-related matters. Assist with analytical tasks for Treasury initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Key RelationshipsWork closely with URC Treasury, M&A, Investor Relations, and other key departments within URC and affiliated companies. What are the Qualifications? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management Engineering, Business Administration or other related course.

CFA charterholder or in pursuit of a CFA charter, a plus. At least 2 years work experience in the related field; capital market and financial modelling experience required. Can exemplify URC's Values of Putting People
