About the role

Super Candy Corporation is looking for a dedicated and skilled Line Maintenance Technician to support the reliable operation of our production lines. You will play a key role in keeping our machines running efficiently and ensuring continuous, high-quality manufacturing in our growing facility.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot machine issues, identify root causes, and perform effective repairs
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned machines
  • Support line start-up, shutdown, changeover, and setup to ensure optimal operation
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime; escalate major issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate daily maintenance logs, work orders, repair reports, and parts inventory consumption
  • Coordinate with Production, QA, and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues affecting output or quality
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and Safety standards at all times
  • Provide guidance to production staff on proper equipment operation and basic care
  • Perform other maintenance-related tasks as may be assigned to support plant operations

Who We're Looking For

  • Vocational or Technical graduate in Mechanical Technology, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related courses
  • 1–3 years experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Solid basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret basic diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals (an advantage)
  • Fast learner, proactive, and able to work under pressure during urgent repairs
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work shifts and respond to emergencies as needed
