IVT Nurse (Intravenous Therapy Nurse)

We are looking for a skilled and patient-centered IVT Nurse to join Health Cube Medical Clinics.

The role focuses on safe and efficient administration of intravenous therapy for outpatient and diagnostic patients, ensuring quality service and excellent patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and insert peripheral IV lines for patients.
• Interpret and carry out physician's orders for IV fluids, medications, and infusion procedures.
• Prepare and administer IV therapies (hydration, vitamin infusions, medications, etc.).
• Monitor patients throughout the infusion process, including vital signs, IV site checks, and early detection of adverse reactions.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and implement infection control protocols.
• Document IV insertion details, medications infused, patient condition, and any observations during therapy.
• Provide patient education regarding the procedure, after-care instructions, and safety reminders.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of care.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and infusion areas in accordance with clinic standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid PRC license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• IV Therapy Training / IVT Certification (preferred; candidates with demonstrated IV competence are welcome).
• BLS certification is an advantage.
• Experience in IV therapy, outpatient, wellness, or hospital/clinical setting is an advantage but not required.
• Strong IV insertion skills and familiarity with infusion pumps and related equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
• Able to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php26,000.00 per month
