Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation

Lead formulation and reformulation of food and beverage products.

Introduce new ingredients and technologies to improve taste, nutrition, and shelf life.

Oversee sensory evaluation, consumer testing, and product trials.

Process Improvement & Production Support

Optimize food production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Support scale-up of recipes from lab to pilot plant to full manufacturing.

Troubleshoot technical issues in production and recommend corrective actions.

Quality Assurance & Food Safety

Ensure compliance with FDA Philippines, HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other standards.

Establish and monitor product specifications and quality parameters.

Lead investigations of quality deviations and implement preventive measures.

Regulatory & Documentation

Prepare and review technical documents such as product specs, labels, and nutritional information.

Ensure local and international regulatory compliance for all food products.

Support audits and inspections.

Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor and train junior food technologists and lab staff.

Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, and production to align product development with market needs.

Provide expert advice on food trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field.

Licensed Food Technologist (if required) preferred.

5+ years of experience in food R&D, QA, or production, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing technologies.

Demonstrated leadership in product development and process improvement.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
