Role Overview:

The Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for managing, monitoring, and reconciling all fixed assets within the organization. This role ensures accurate recording, timely capitalization, compliance with accounting standards, and proper reporting for financial and operational decision-making. The analyst works closely with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams, leveraging SAP and other tools to maintain asset integrity and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Asset Management

  • Record, tag, and track all fixed assets in SAP.
  • Ensure proper classification and timely capitalization of assets in line with accounting standards.
  • Monitor asset movements, transfers, disposals, and retirements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare and review fixed asset schedules, including depreciation calculations, for financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and tax regulations.
  • Provide accurate fixed asset data for internal and external audits.
  • Analyze asset trends and prepare management reports to support strategic decision-making.

SAP Utilization & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate fixed asset records using SAP Fixed Asset modules.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support financial and operational teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in asset management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in fixed asset accounting, general accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation methods, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in SAP Fixed Asset modules is required.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
