About the role

Isteel Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components to support our manufacturing operations. What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, analysing, and optimising mechanical systems, components, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  2. Conducting research, testing, and analysis to identify areas for improvement and innovative solutions
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions
  4. Ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
  5. Providing technical support and expertise to production and maintenance teams
  6. Continuously monitoring and optimising the performance of mechanical systems
  7. Documenting and reporting on project progress, findings, and recommendations

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  3. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
  4. Proficiency in using CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis techniques
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Familiarity with relevant safety and quality standards
