About the role

Unilogix, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and safety in daily operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, machines, and processes.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment and utilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare technical reports, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or improvements.
  • Support production teams in equipment setup, calibration, and optimization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for equipment installation or repair.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and equipment procurement.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in using CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, for design and modelling
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards, and the ability to ensure compliance
