Role Overview

The Selling Area Supervisor at Waltermart Supermarket plays a vital role in leading a specific product section to achieve sales goals and operational excellence. You will be responsible for supervising daily store activities, managing inventory and merchandising, and guiding a team to uphold high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent customer service and create a welcoming, hassle-free shopping experience in your assigned area
  • Drive sales performance by maintaining high product standards and minimizing losses from spoilage or shrinkage
  • Execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies accurately and on schedule
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate with stock teams to ensure consistent product availability
  • Lead, mentor, and assess the performance of staff assigned to your product area
  • Ensure all store operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and standard procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
  • At least one (1) year of experience in retail, store supervision, or food and beverage operations
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
