About the role

We are seeking a diligent and organised Accounting Clerk to join our team at JB Elite Corporation based in Carmona, Cavite. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to support the overall financial operations of the company. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
  • Processing invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner
  • Reconciling bank statements and performing other bank-related tasks
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Providing administrative support to the Accounting team as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A relevant accounting or finance-related certification or diploma would be an advantage
