Job Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Above average grades and ability to understand and Australian finance regulations and concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and autonomously
  • Have a sound understanding of financial planning concepts and strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient using XPLAN
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines for multiple tasks efficiently and autonomously

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ROAS - these are usually just basic investment switching, although on some occasions, there may be a need for additional advice to be included.
  • Prepare SOAS - these will likely be simple, like product switching or contribution advice, but they might become more complex over time as you get more familiar with the business.
  • Prepare strategy documents - these are usually summary documents that we discuss with the client pre-advice that outline how we can assist them
  • Prepare and assist with calculations to support recommendations/SOAS/ROAS/strategy documents, etc.
  • Research strategies and/or legislation around financial planning concepts. Assist the admin team with other tasks as needed - this would probably be preparing reviews in periods where we are really busy but could include other tasks as well.
