Facade Designer

We require a qualified Façade Designer to provide expert analysis and design input on our bid proposals. This role involves assessing the structural viability of our products within various building projects. A strong understanding of electrical engineering principles is a distinct advantage. This role reports to the Bid Team Manager and will work closely with the COO, Head of R&D and lead architect on other business interests. Therefore, this role offers the successful application the opportunity to contribute to the design and deployment application of our products, to propel the BIPV industry forward.

Key Responsibilities:

o Perform structural analysis for all proposed projects.

o Provide loading advise for product design on a per proposal basis.

o Provide expert technical support for bid documents.

o Collaborate with key technical leads, including but not limited to the COO, Head of R&D and lead Architect, to actualise our clients vision effective thought the application of our product.

Language requirements:

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English.

Qualifications:

Structural engineering, proficiency in electrical engineering is highly desirable.

Technical skills:

Exemplary technical knowledge of facade systems, proficient in reading drawings, specifications, RFP's, RFQ's, etc. Competent in using Microsoft applications and other software platform.

Remuneration:

Subject to experience and in line with local market level.
