What is your mission?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting supervisor to lead financial operations for construction and development projects. This role will manage job cost accounting, oversee monthly closes, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. You'll work closely with project managers and leadership to maintain budget accuracy, uphold internal controls, and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead accounting functions for active construction and real estate development projects

· Oversee job costing, budget forecasting, and actuals tracking

· Manage vendor invoicing, lien waivers, draw requests, and payment applications

· Handle the month-end close process with reconciliations and accruals

· Collaborate on budget oversight, change orders, and cost-to-complete reviews

· Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with reporting standards

· Prepare financial reports for executive leadership and project stakeholders

· Support audits, tax filings, and communication with external financial partners

Who are we looking for?

· Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· 5 years in accounting and in construction or real estate development

· Experienced in construction industry accounting, including project-based cost tracking and reporting

· Expertise in job costing, GAAP, and construction-specific accounting practices

· Familiarity with ERP system, QuickBooks, or similar systems used in construction or infrastructure sectors

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

· Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

· Highly organized and adaptable in fast-paced environments
