Reporting LineThis position reports to the Operations Executive. Primary ResponsibilitiesAssists the Operations Executive in controlling and organizing the day-to-day technical operations of the laboratory to ensure compliance with SGS Global policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and various management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC Specific ResponsibilitiesOversees the technical laboratory activities and operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and international standards.

Reviews laboratory procedures and results of method modifications, verifications, and validations. Ensures operational requirements and performance targets are met through proper manpower planning, work distribution, performance monitoring, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance. Prepares and updates reports related to analyses performed.

Prepares, evaluates, and signs laboratory test reports. Submits relevant monthly or quarterly statutory/regulatory reports. Reviews inventory requirements and submits bulk orders.

Coaches lab analysts and aides on test performance, analysis, and sample preparation. Oversees laboratory staff performance. Ensures good housekeeping practices and compliance with company manuals and IMS.Manages administrative duties such as document safekeeping, inventory, and logistical support, and provides feedback and training to staff.

Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals and staff development. Required SkillsMinimum 4 years of related experience in a laboratory setting. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
