Playbook is the best all-in-one software platform for sports, youth, and community businesses. We help business owners manage their organizations through registration, scheduling, and payment tools.

We are looking for a dillgent, hard-working QA professional who is highly intelligent, and motivated to own QA work. This individual will help to sharpen the Playbook team's work on the product functionality and scope. You will be responsible for owning much of the development of testing for our core applications. We're building the world's best software for automating and growing sports and academic communities and we are looking for a developer who has an interest in the ability to execute on those ideas. You will partner with our product team, design team, and marketing team and will be responsible for developing sound technical solutions that will allow us to scale the business as we grow.

Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our software applications.
  • Work closely with development teams to identify and troubleshoot software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Implement and maintain QA testing environments and tools.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to enhance software quality.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, procedures, and QA best practices.
  • Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Developer or tester in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience in performance and/or security testing.

Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
